Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 9/15/16

9/15 is the Chinese  mid-autumn day festival; the day when everybody gets together and enjoys moon cakes. This day is the day of Metal Rat in the month of Fire Rooster. It is a clash combination. It favors occult research and competitiveness.
The day is signified as auspicious and balanced. It is suitable for renovations, moving house, traveling, and marriage.
A balance day is good for marriage, construction, traveling, and business negotiations.
The Lunar Mansion this day is Kui, Astride. It affects business in that, if opened this day, will likely meet with legal problems in early years. However it is good for travels, and renovations.
Rat, the sign of this day, is the Star of Romance for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day of romantic affairs for you.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon, this is a day for making progress in your career.
Rat favors Rat, Dragon, Monkey, Ox, and Pig; is neutral toward Snake, Rooster, Tiger, and Dog; clashes with Rabbit and Horse; and is ambivalent with Sheep.
The I Ching hexagram of this day, using the King Wen method, is number 41, line 3.

Hexagram 41 is Sun, Decrease. Greatest good fortune when combined with sincerity. No regrets. It is time to persevere and undertake something. Use two small bowls for the sacrifice.

Line 3 When three people travel together, the number is decreased by one. When one travels alone, he find a friend. The zodiac sign of line 3, Ox, is weak by the element of the season. And by the element of the hexagram signifies people who gather around. Ox is partly harmonious with the signs of changing lines 4 and 5, and is in harmony with the signs of the day and month. The Metal of Metal Rat day puts a dragon in line 3. This is auspicious and tells you to take action this day.
