Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 9/10/16

9/10 is the day of Wood Sheep in the month of Fire Rooster.  This is a harmonious combination. It favors standing up.
This day is designated inauspicious and open. Do not use it for any activities of significance, for their resultant outcome will be disastrous.
An open day is good for opening your house for house warming, but, because of the nature of the day, it is not good for other things.
The lunar mansion for the day is Nu, The weaving maiden. It is good for academic and literary activities. The day is better spent indoors than out.
Sheep, the sign of the day, is the Star of Arts for Sheep, Rabbit, and Pig. If you were born on a year or day of one of these three signs, this a day for artistic activity.
Sheep is in harmony with Sheep, Pig, Rabbit, Horse, and Snake; is neutral with Monkey, Rooster, Tiger, and Dragon; clashes with Ox and Dog; and is ambivalent toward Rat.
The I Ching hexagram of the day, using the King Wen method is number 64, line 3.

Hexagram 64 is WeiJi, The unfinished. Success, but if the little fox gets his tail wet before crossing over it doesn't serve anything,

Line 3 Attack is bad luck. The zodiac signs for line 3, Horse and Rooster, are neutral toward one another, and partially strong by the element of the season. By the element of the hexagram, they represent people who come to you and money. Horse and Rooster are in harmony with the signs of changing line 6, and the sign of the day, but clash with the sign of the month. Great hardships lead to reward, The Wood of Wood Sheep day puts a worm in line 3. You have to deal with obstacles.
