Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 11/11/16

11/11 is the day of Fire Rooster in the month of Earth Pig. This is a harmonious combination. It favors hard work to turn difficult conditions around and make them into something positive.
This day is designated as auspicious and open. It is ideal for marriage, moving house, renovations, opening a new business, etc.
An open day is good for any activity involving openings.
The lunar mansion is Luo, Mound. It is a very favorable star, good for all business and personal activities such as marriage, business deals, renovations, etc.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon, this is a good day for love.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this is a good day for making progress in your career.
Rooster, the sign for this day, is in harmony with Ox, Snake, Monkey, and Dragon; neutral toward Pig, Rat, Tiger, Horse, and Sheep; clashes with Rooster and Rabbit; and is ambivalent toward Dog.
The I Ching hexagram, using the King Wen method, is number 18, line 3.

Hexagram 18 is Gu, Decay. Supreme success is possible. It is time to cross the great water. Before you start, three days. After you start another three day pass.

Line 3 In correcting what has been spoiled by the father, there will be some bad feeling, but nothing serious. The zodiac sign for line 3 is Rooster. By the element of the season, Rooster is weakening. By the element of the hexagram, Rooster signifies power. Rooster clashes with the signs of changing line 4, clashes with the sign for the day, and is neutral toward the sign of the month. Much Metal generates strong Water. The Fire of Fire Rooster day puts a dragon in line 3. This is auspicious. It is time to act.
