Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 11/15/16

11/15 is the day of Metal Ox in the month of Earth Pig. This is a harmonious combination. It favors self expression of talent.
This day is designated as inauspicious and full. It is not good for anything.
A full day would be generally good for signing agreements, official openings, and house warming, but such ill advised.
The lunar mansion is Zui, Beak. It is a negative star, and is unfavorable for all personal and business activities.
Ox, the sign for this day, is harmonious with Ox, Snake, Rooster, Pig, and Rat; neutral toward Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Monkey, and Dog; and clashes with Horse, and Sheep.
The I Ching hexagram, using the King Wen method, is number 26, line 2.

Hexagram 26 is Daxu. Great Restraining. Persevere. Not eating at home is lucky. It is time to cross the great water.

Line 2 The axles are taken from the wagon. The zodiac signs for line 2 are Tiger and Ox. By the element of the season, they are both strong. by the element of the hexagram, Tiger signifies power, and Ox signifies colleagues. Tiger and Ox are, for the most part, in harmony with the signs of changing lines 4 and 5, and with the sign of the day and month. Wood covers Earth hiding Water. Retreat. Avoid despair. The Metal of Metal Ox day puts a tortoise in line 2. This is a symbol of privacy and guarding against thieves.
