Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 11/12/16

11/12 is the day of Earth Dog in the month of Earth Pig. This is a harmonious combination. It favors competition and speculating.
This day is designated as dire and close. It is good for nothing.
A close day is not good for anything unusual.
The Lunar Mansion is Wei, Stomach. Under the circumstances it is not good.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog, this is a good day for creative work.
Dog, the sign of the day, is harmonious with Dog, Tiger, Horse, Monkey, and Rabbit; neutral toward Pig, Rat, and Snake; clashes with Ox, Dragon, and Sheep; and ambivalent with Rooster.
The I Ching hexagram, using the King Wen method, is number 46, line 4.

Hexagram 46 is Sheng, Ascending. The image is a tree on a high mountain.

Line 4 The king offers him to Mount Qi. Good luck. No blame. The zodiac signs for line 4 are Ox and Horse. Ox and Horse clash. By the element of the season, Ox is strong Horse if weak. By the element of the hexagram Ox signifies money. Horse signifies creative interests. Ox and Horse are in a complex relation with changing lines 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6, and with the sign for the day and month. Looming Earth with narrow obstructions. Great caution. The Earth of Earth Dog day puts a tortoise in line 4. It symbolizes privacy and guarding against theft.
