Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 10/17/17

10/17 is the day of Fire Ox in the lunar month of Earth Rooster. This is a harmonious combination. It favors financial speculation.
This day is designated as excellent and balancing. Matters of little importance can be undertaken, but not major importance.
On a balance day, to be equal in agreements and exchanges guarantees success.
The lunar mansion is Zui, Beak. This is a highly negative asterism.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this is a good day for creative work.
Ox, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Ox, Snake, Rooster, Pig, and Rat; neutral with Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, and Monkey; and clashes with Horse, Sheep, and Dog.
The I Ching hexagram, using the King Wen method, is number 46, line 4.

Hexagram 46 is Sheng, Ascending. Seeing the superior man eliminates worry. Advancing toward the south brings good luck.

Line 4 The king sacrifices at Mount Qi. Good luck. No blame. The zodiac signs of line 4 are Ox and Horse. By the element of the season, Ox is strong and Horse is weak. By the element of the hexagram, Ox signifies money, Horse signifies support. Ox is in harmony with the signs of changing line, 1. Horse clashes with the signs of changing line, 1. Ox clashes with Horse. Ox is in harmony with the sign of the day and month. Horse clashes with the sign of the day and is neutral with the sign of the month. Ox is clearly favored. It means wealth. The sequence of elements is highly productive, and regenerating. The Fire of Fire Ox puts a tiger in line 4. If you don't know what you are doing, you may meet with injury. Misfortune. Beware of con games.
