Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 6/6/16
6/6 is the day of Earth Sheep in the month of Wood Horse. This is a strongly harmonious day with transformative powers. It gives possibilities of prosperity, and favors the philosophically minded.
This is a fair day, good for removing what is no longer useful, also good for opening a business, moving house, renovating, and marriage. It also favors teaching, psychic work, astrological work, metaphysical work, scholarship, medicine, research and investigation, writing, art, and forms of behind the scenes work. Favorable directions are east, southeast, south, and west.
This day is bad for withdrawing, solitude, self-centeredness, isolation, and anti-social behavior. Unfavorable directions are north, northeast and southwest.
Sheep, the sign of this day, is the Star of Art for Rabbit, Sheep, and Pig. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is an especially good day for creative work.
Sheep favors Sheep, Pig, Rabbit, Snake, and Horse; is neutral toward Monkey, Rooster, Tiger, and Dragon; clashes with Dog and Ox; and is ambivalent toward Rat.
Today's I Ching hexagram, using the King Wen method, is number 27, line 4.
Hexagram 27 is Yi, Jaws. Pay attention to provision of nourishment, both food and ideas.
Line 4 favors searching. The zodiac signs of line 4, Dog and Rooster, are in an ambivalent relationship, but Dog can support Rooster. Dog is strong by the element of the season, but Rooster is weak. By the element of the hexagram, Dog signifies money, and Rooster signifies people coming. There is money to be made especially if you are in a position to help others. Dog and Rooster are for the most part in a favorable relation to the signs of changing lines, 2 and 3 as well as to the signs of the day and month. The Earth of Earth Sheep day puts a dragon in line 4. This is very auspicious. This is a good day to be constructive, and to work and make money.
