Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 9/18/16
9/18 is the day of Water Rabbit in the month of Fire Rooster. This is a clash combination that can turn a situation around for the better. It favors standing up to challenging odds especially by secret means.
The day is designated as fair and destructive. It is fairly useful within a narrow range.
A destruction day is good for demolition of a building, and can be useful for removal of something by medical procedure.
The lunar mansion of the day is Mao, Pleiades. This is an extremely negative star and is not good for anything.
Rabbit, the sign of the day, is the Star of Romance for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this ok for romantic affairs.
Rabbit is the Commanding Star for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in an year or day of one of these three signs, this is ok for making progress in your career.
Rabbit favors Rabbit, Sheep, Pig, Dog, and Tiger; is neutral toward Snake, Horse, Monkey, and Ox; clashes with Rat, and Rooster; and is ambivalent toward Dragon.
The I Ching Hexagram, using the King Wen method, is number 9, line 1.
Hexagram 9 is Xiaoxu, Small Power. There are heavy clouds, but no rain comes from the east.
Line 1 Return to your way. No blame. Good luck. The zodiac sign for line 1, Rat, is weak by the element of the season. And by the element of the hexagram, signifies resources. Rat clashes with the signs of changing line 6, and with the sign if the day, and is neutral toward the sign of the month. Holding virtue bring success. The Water of Water Rabbit day puts a tortoise in line 1. This tells you to keep much to yourself, and guard against being used unfairly. There also is danger of theft.
