Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 10/1/16

10/1 is the day of Fire Dragon in the lunar month of Earth Dog. This is a harmonious combination. It favors adventurous, and talent related professions.
This day is designated as auspicious and dangerous. It is a good day for opening a business, moving house, and travel.
A danger day was traditionally used for religious worship, and for bed positioning in fengshui.
The lunar mansion this day is Di, Foundation. Bad for marriage. There is some danger of renovation and construction done today, as property is likely to be a fire hazard in the end.
Dragon, the sign for this day, is the Star of Arts for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for creative work.
Dragon is harmonious with Monkey, Rat, Tiger, and Rooster; neutral toward Snake; Horse; Sheep; Pig; and Ox; clashes with Dragon and Dog; and is ambivalent toward Rabbit.
The I Ching hexagram, using the King Wen method, is number 46, line 4.

Hexagram 46 Sheng, Upwardness. Greatest success. You must see an influential person. No worry. Travel toward the south is good luck.

Line 4 The king offers him to mount Qi. Good luck. No blame. The zodiac signs for line 4, Ox and Horse, are in discord with one another. Ox is strong by the element of the season, and horse is weak. And by the element of the hexagram they signify money and create work. Ox and Horse are in complex relationship, both harmonious and discordant, with the signs of changing lines 5 and 6, and in harmony with the signs of the day and month. Fire centered in Earth. Treasures revealed. The Fire of Fire Dragon Day puts a tiger in line 4. This is a dangerous sign. Seize the day.
