Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 12/9/16

12/9 is the day of Wood Ox in the month of Metal Rat. This is a harmonious, transformative combination. It favors research and investigation.
This day is designated as excellent and remove. It is ideal for marriage, renovation, travel, opening a business, getting the assistance from noble people, and so on.
A remove day is used for spiritual practices for removing bad influences, and for space clearing in fengshui.
The lunar mansion is Lou, Mound. This is a very favorable star for all personal and business activities.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this is a good day for creative work.
Ox, the sign of this day, is harmonious with Ox, Snake, Rooster, Rat, and Pig; neutral with Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, and Monkey; and clashes with Horse, Sheep, and Dog.
The I Ching hexagram, using the king Wen method, is number 33, line 2.

Hexagram 33 is Tun, Yielding. There is success. Time to persevere in small matters.

Line 2 You are held fast with yellow oxhide, and you can't tear your self loose. The zodiac signs for line 2 are Horse and Pig. They are neutral toward one another, and Pig is void, meaning it can act unpredictably. By the element of the season, Horse is weak, and Pig is strong, but can undermine. By the element of the hexagram Horse signifies power, and Pig signifies creative or business interest, but can act destructively. Horse and Pig are for the most part in harmony with the signs of changing line, 5. Horse clashes with the signs for the day and month, and Pig in harmony with the signs for the day and month. The Wood of Wood Ox day puts a raven in line 2. You need to be very clear about what you are doing. Avoid quarrels.
