Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 5/13/17

5/13 is the day of Metal Rat in the month of Wood Snake. This is a harmonious combination. It favors dangerous careers, like police and military.
This day is designated as excellent and dangerous. It is good for starting all major projects.
A danger day is good for religious worship, and all fengshui operations.
The lunar mansion is Niu, Ox. This is a disaster star. It casts a shadow over otherwise good auguries.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep, this is a day for love.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon, this day is good for progressing at work.
Rat, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Rat, Dragon, Monkey, Pig, and Ox; neutral with Tiger, Snake, Rooster, and Dog; clashes with Rabbit, and Horse; and is ambivalent with Sheep.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 51, line 6.

Hexagram 51 is Zhen, Thunder. Thunder comes amid gaiety and glee. It terrifies people for a hundred miles. He does not let the sacrificial spoon spill its spirits.

Line 6 Never overdo anything. The zodiac sign for line 6 is Dog. By the element of the season, Dog is weak. By the element of the hexagram, Dog signifies money. Dog is in a largely clashing relationship with the signs of changing lines, 1 and 3, and neutral with the signs of the day and month. This calls for patience. The Metal of Metal Rat day puts a snake in line 6. And watchfulness.
