Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 5/3/17

5/3 is the day of Metal Tiger in the lunar month of Wood Snake. This is a dangerous combination that can unexpectedly reverse or overturn situations. It favors dangerous careers, like the police or fire departments.
This day is designated as fair and open. To a moderate extent, the day can be used for significant events. It promises material gains.
An open day is good for opening a new business, housewarming, welcoming in guests, and so on.
The lunar mansion is Can, Orion. This is a good asterism for all fengshui operations, travel, removations, and construction. It brings fame.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon, this day will be busy, good for making gains and traveling.
Tiger, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Tiger, Horse, Dog, Rabbit, Dragon, and Pig; neutral with Sheep, Rooster, Rat, and Ox; and clashes with Snake and Monkey.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 49, line 4.

Hexagram 49 is Ge, Revolution. When it is completed it is believed. Supreme success. Determined and correct perseverance is advantageous. Regrets vanish.

Line 4 Be in the right position before trying to carry out reforms. The zodiac signs of line 4 are Pig and Monkey. By the element of the season they both are weak. By the element of the hexagram Pig signifies your colleagues, and Monkey signifies support. Pig and Monkey clash with the signs of changing line, 3, and with the signs of the day and month. This is a severe clash. The Metal of Metal Tiger day puts a raven in line 4. The raven warns of conflict and quarrels.
