Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 2/13/18

2/13 is the day of Fire Rat in the lunar month of Water Ox. This is a clashing combination.
This day is designated as auspicious and open. It is good only for minor works.
And open day is good for opening your office of home and welcoming in guests.
The lunar mansion is Yi, Wing. This is a negative asterim.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep, this day is good for socializing.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon, this day is good for taking control of your work and driving it forward.
Rat, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Rat, Dragon, Monkey, Pig, and Ox; neutral with Tiger, Snake, Rooster, and Dog; clashes with Horse and Rabbit; and is ambivalent with Sheep.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 54, line 3.

Hexagram 54 is Guimei. The Marrying Maiden. The maiden becomes a concubine. The lame man can still walk. Advancing brings good fortune.

Line 3 Beware of danger in trying to get things by improper means. The zodiac signs of line 3 are Ox and Pig. By the element of the season, both are becoming weak. By the element of the hexagram, Ox signifies support, Pig signifies development of business interests. For the most part, Ox and Pig are in harmony with the signs of changing lines, 2 and 4, and with the signs of the day and month. The sequence of elements signifies stalemate; you can't go forward or back. Meditate. The Fire of Fire Rat day puts a snake in line 3. Pay attention to small details.
