Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 2/27/18

2/27 is the day of Metal Tiger in the lunar month of Wood Tiger. This is a clashing combination. It brings out the Deity of Unconventional Wealth, good for speculative professions such as stocks, commodities, bonds, trading, etc.
This day is designated as inauspicious and establishing. It is not good for starting any major projects.
An establish day is good for visiting friends and discussing plans for business and marriage.
The lunar mansion is Shi, Room. This is good for increase of assets.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon; this may be a busy day, good to organize, maybe travel.
Tiger, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Tiger, Horse, Dog, Rabbit, Dragon, and Pig; neutral with Sheep, Rooster, Rat, and Ox; and clashes with Snake and Monkey.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 2, line 6.

Hexagram 2 is Kun, Earth. The firmness of a mare is advantageous. If you take initiative you go astray. If you follow you find guidance. Favorable friends are found in the southwest. Those in the northeast are lost. Gentle persistance leads to good fortune.

Line 6 Attempts to lead are dangerous. The zodiac sign of line 6 is Rooster. By the element of the season, Rooster is weak. By the element of the hexagram, Rooster signifies the development of business interests. Rooster clashes with the signs of the day and month. The sequence of elements signifies that distress intensifies earlier; later there comes relief. The Metal of Metal Tiger day puts a snake in line 6. Be subtle in moves and pay close attention to detail.
