Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 2/19/18


2/19 is the day of Water Horse in the lunar month of Wood Tiger. This is a harmonious combination.
This day is designated as auspicious and stable. It is good for all major undertakings such as renovations, moving house, opening a business, traveling, marriage, etc.
A stable day is good for starting, or establishing something that will last a long time.
The lunar mansion is Xin, Heart. This is good for travel or cashing in on commodities.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this day favors romance.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog, this day is for taking command of your work and going forward with it.
Horse, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Dog, Tiger, Snake, and Sheep; neutral with Monkey, Rooster, Pig, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Rat, Ox, and Horse.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 57, line 6.

Hexagram 57 is Sun, the Wind. Small efforts achieve success. It is advantageous to have firm goals and to see the superior man.

Line 6 Penetration under the bed. He loses his posessions and his axe. Perseverance is unfavorable. Avoid indecision. The zodiac sign of line 6 is Rabbit. By the element of the season, Rabbit is strong. By the element of the hexagram, Rabbit signifies friends and colleagues. Rabbit is neutral with the signs of changing lines, 1 and 3, and the sign of the day, but is in harmony with the sign of the month. The sequence of elements says to persue family and business. The Water of Water Horse day puts a tiger in line 6. You must act decisively. If you are indecisive, don't act. Danger.
