Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 2/14/18

2/14 is the day of Fire Ox in the lunar month of Water Ox. This is a clashing combination.
This day is designated as inauspicious and closed. One should guard against being attacked by a tiger. It is an extremely inauspicious day for all major undertakings.
A close day is bad for any activity of great personal or business significance.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this day favors creative work.
Ox, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Ox, Rooster, Snake, Pig, and Rat; neutral with Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, and Monkey; and clashes with Horse, Sheep, and Dog.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 49, line 4.

Hexagram 49 is Ge, Revolution. On your own day you are believed. Supreme success. Furthering through perseverance. Remorse disappears. The superior man sets the calendar in order and makes the seasons clear.

Line 4 Men believe him. Changing the form of government brings good fortune. The zodiac sign of line 4 is Pig. The the element of the season, Pig is weak. By the element of the hexagram, Pig signifies friends and colleagues. Pig is in harmony with the elements of changing line, 1, and with the sign of the day and month. The sequence of elements says it is good to meditate. The Fire of Fire Ox day puts a tiger in line 4. Stepping out of bounds meets with disaster.
