Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 1/15/16
1/15 is the day of Fire Monkey in the month of Earth Ox. This is a harmonious combination. It brings out the deity of Explicit Talent who favors all those who are creative, inventive, and artistic. This is a good day for creative work.
Monkey is the Traveling Star for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day for making positive changes and advancing in your work, rearranging your space, moving, and traveling.
Monkey generally favors Monkey, Rat, Dragon, Rooster, and Dog; is neutral toward Ox, Rabbit, Horse, and Sheep; and clashes with Pig, Tiger, and Snake.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 27, line 4.
Hexagram 27 is Yi, Jaws. Good fortune. Pay attention to providing proper nourishment, both physical and mental. This hexagram is good in winter.
Line 4 Turning to the heights for proper nourishment, good luck. Spying about like an insatiable tiger is good. The zodiac sign of line 4, Dog, is somewhat weak by the season, and, by the hexagram, represents money. Dog partly clashes with the signs of changing line, 1, is neutral toward the sign of the day, and clashes with the sign of the month. There are challenges. The Fire of Fire Monkey day puts a tiger in line 4. If you are absolutely certain, act decisively, otherwise not at all.
