Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 5/13/15

5/13 is the day of Earth Ox in the month of Metal Dragon. This is a harmonious combination. It favors independent entrepreneurs, free-lancers, and speculators.
Ox is the Star of Art for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for creative work.
Ox generally favors Ox, Snake, Rooster, Rat, and Pig; is neutral toward Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, and Monkey; and challenges Horse, Sheep, and Dog.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 51, line 6.

Hexagram 51 is Zhen, Thunder. Thunder comes. Everyone is startled. They laugh nervously. Thunder terrifies creatures for a hundred miles around, but he does not drop the sacrificial spoon. This hexagram is good in summer.

Line 6 advises remaining calm, and not overdoing anything. The zodiac signs of line 6, Dog and Snake are harmonious together, and are in partial harmony with the signs of the day and month. The Earth of Earth Ox day puts a worm in line 6. Despite hindrances move forward, but at a moderate pace. Stay focused.

The elements of this hexagram are Wood, Wood, and Wood. Growth is profuse. Good fortune comes from all directions.
