Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 5/6/15

5/6 is the beginning of Chinese summer. Happy Summer! It is also the beginning of the solar period of 2 Earth Star. This is very good for settling affairs, for making steady progress, for bringing together, for taking care of home and family, and for love.
5/6 is the day of Water Horse in the month of Metal Dragon. It is a harmonious combination. Water Horse loves to run. The combination favors taking courage and making sincere efforts in the direction you wish to move in.
Horse is the Star of Romance for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for romantic affairs.
Horse is the Commanding Star for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three, this is a day for making good progress in whatever direction you want to move in, especially in your career.
Horse generally favors Dog, Tiger, Sheep, and Snake; is neutral toward Monkey, Rooster, Pig, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Horse, Rat, and Ox. A clash can be very productive of good.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 63, line 3.

Hexagram 63 is Completion. Success in small things. It is good to persevere. Good luck in the beginning, Disorder in the end.

Line 3 recommends giving freely of yourself. Know exactly what this is for. Do not question what you have chosen. Be firm in your commitment. The zodiac sign of line 3, Pig, is in partial harmony with the signs of changing lines, 2 and 4, and is in harmony with the signs of the day and month. The Water of Water Horse day puts a raven in line 3. Why quarrel?

The elements of this hexagram are Water, Fire, and Water. Reflect deeply.
