Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 5/25/15

5/25 is the day of Metal Ox in the day of Metal Snake. This is a harmonious combination that gives stability and kindness, and favors courage and independence.
Ox is the Star of Art for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for creative thinking and work.
Ox generally favors Ox, Snake, Rooster, Rat, and Pig; is neutral toward Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, and Monkey; and clashes with Horse, Sheep, and Dog.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 31, line 3.

Hexagram 31 is Xian, Influence. It is good to persevere and to plan for marriage. Marriage brings good luck.

Line 3 advises following your own idea rather than that of someone else. The zodiac sign of line 3, Monkey, clashes with the signs of changing lines, 2, 4, and 6, is harmonious with the sign of the day, and clashes with the sign of the month. The Metal of Metal Ox day puts a dragon in line 3. Move boldly forward despite difficulties. The dragon is an auspicious sign.

The elements of this hexagram are Metal, Earth, and Metal. Good spirits guide.
