Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 5/10/15

5/10 is the day of Fire Dog in the month of Metal Dragon. This is a discordant combination that can bring unexpected changes. It is, however, good for artists and other creative, inventive people.
Dog is the Star of Arts for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for creative activity.
Dog generally favors Dog, Tiger, Horse, Rabbit, and Monkey; is neutral toward Pig, Rat, and Snake; clashes with Ox, Dragon, and Sheep; and is either good or bad to Rooster depending on circumstances.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 60, line 1.

Hexagram 60 is Ji, Limitation. Success. Avoid excessive limitation. This hexagram is good in summer. We are in Chinese summer season.

Line 1 encourages feeling confident and content with what you have. The zodiac signs of line 1, Snake and Sheep, are in harmony with each other, are partially harmonious with the signs of changing line 2 and with the signs of the day and month. The Fire of Fire Dog day puts a raven in line 1, however. Do not entertain petty quarrels.

The elements of this hexagram are Water, Metal, and Water. Water is abundant. It favors action.
