Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 2/15/16

2/15 is the day of Fire Rabbit in the month of Metal Tiger. This is a partly discordant combination. It favors being helpful and supportive toward others.
Rabbit is the Star of Romance for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day to devote some attention to romantic affairs.
If you were born in the year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep, this is a good day to take initiative at work.
Rabbit favors Rabbit, Sheep, Pig, Dog, and Tiger; is neutral toward Snake, Horse, Monkey, and Ox; clashes with Rat and Rooster; and is ambivalent toward Dragon.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 54, line 3.

Hexagram 54 is Guimei, The Marrying Maiden is not good for anything. This hexagram is bad in spring.

Line 3 The marrying maiden as a slave warns about being obsequious, or seeking peace at any price. Don't sacrifice your dignity. The zodiac signs for line 3, Ox and Dragon, are in harmony with one another. They are strong by the season, and, by the hexagram. represent support. They confirm the day combination that favors being supportive of others. But, in context of this hexagram, it warns not to try too hard. Do not take on responsibility that is not for you to take on. Everyone is entitled to their own burdens. Keep to your proper limits. Ox and Dragon are partly in harmony with the signs of changing line, 4, and with the signs of the day and month. Watch that you don't open yourself to parasites, and energy drains. The Fire of Fire Rabbit day puts a snake in line 4. This tells you to look behind the surface of things. Not everything is as it appears. Telling others what they want to hear is not necessarily helping them. Don't be suckered, in other words.
