Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 3/1/16

3/1 is the day of Water Horse in the month of Metal Tiger. This is a harmonious combination. It gives the ability to take advantage of difficult conditions, and favors creativity.
Horse is the Star of Romance for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day for romantic affairs.
Horse is the Commanding Star for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these, this is a good day for focusing on professional progress.
Horse favors Dog, Tiger, Snake, and Sheep; is neutral toward Monkey, Rooster, Pig, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Rat, Ox, and Horse.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 43, line 5.

Hexagram 43 is Kui, Resoluteness. You must resolutely make the matter known at the court of the king, and announce the news truthfully. Danger. It is time to do something. This encourages taking action.

Line 5  If you are resolute in getting rid of weeds, and walk in the middle, there is no blame. The zodiac signs of line 5, Rooster and Pig, are neutral toward one another. Rooster is void. But the season, Pig is strong. By the hexagram, Rooster signifies creative interests, but, being void, it is not useful. Pig, by the hexagram, signifies money. The combination favors practicality; go for the money. Pig is in harmony with the signs of changing lines, 1 and 4, is neutral toward the sign of the day, and in harmony with the sign of the month. This is very productive. The Water of Water Horse day puts a snake in line 5. It advises paying attention to details and looking beneath the surface of things. There may be a hidden opportunity.
