Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 2/10/16

2/10 is the day of Water Dog in the lunar month of Metal Tiger. This is a harmonious combination. It favors creative thinking and all talent related professions.
Dog is the Star of Art for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day for engaging in creative work.
Dog favors Tiger, Horse, Dog, Rabbit, and Monkey; is neutral toward Pig, Rat, and Snake; clashes with Ox; Dragon; and Sheep; and is ambivalent toward Rooster.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 44, line 1.

Hexagram 44 is Gou, Coming to Meet. The maiden is powerful. One should not marry. This hexagram is bad in spring. We are in Chinese spring season now.

Line 1. It must be checked with a brake of bronze. If you let it run its course you will have bad luck. Even a lean pig can rage around. In other words, nip evil in the bud. The zodiac signs of line 1, Ox and Rabbit are neutral toward one another. Ox is void, meaning it does nothing. Rabbit is strong by the season, and, by the element of the hexagram, denotes money. There is an issue around money. Rabbit is in harmony with most of the signs of changing lines, 2 and 5, and with the signs of the day and month. It's good. Money is growing. The Water of Water Dog day puts a tortoise in line 1, however. There is angling in this. It advises you to keep your designs to yourself now, and guard against potential theft.
