Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 4/2/16

4/2 is the day of Wood Tiger in the month of Metal Rabbit. This is a partly discordant combination. It favors independence and competitiveness, supports prosperity, and warns of intolerance and anger. It also advises watching your health, especially if you were born in the month of Rabbit.
Tiger is the Traveling Star for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a day or year of one of these three signs, this is a lucky day to move forward in your career, and to travel.
Tiger favors Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Horse, Dog, and Pig; is neutral toward Sheep, Rooster, Rat, and Ox; and clashes with Snake and Monkey.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 4, line 4.

Hexagram 4 is Meng, the Fool. If you are plagued by doubt, and ask the same question over and over again, you will get no answer. It is favorable to persevere toward your goal.

Line 4 advises to stop day dreaming. Be practical now. The zodiac sign for line 4, Dog, is weak by the element of the season, and, by the element of the hexagram, signifies creative work, or business interests. Dog is in harmony with the signs of the day and month. The Wood of Wood Tiger day puts a snake in line 4. Pay attention to the details.
