Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 4/12/16

4/12 is the day of Wood Rat in the month of Water Dragon. This is a harmonious combination. It favors entrepreneurs, those with good financial managerial skills, and those who make money by speculating.
This could be a lucky day for you if you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon, this is a good day to take charge and move forward in your career.
Rat favors Rat, Dragon, Monkey, Pig, and Ox; is neutral toward Tiger, Snake, Rooster, and Dog; clashes with Rabbit and Horse; and is ambivalent toward Sheep.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 52, line 6.

Hexagram 52 is Ken, the Mountain. He keeps his spine straight like a mountain and no longer feels his body. He goes into his courtyard and does not see the others. No blame. This is a hexagram of concentration and meditation, and deals with calm and stillness.

Line 6 is the peak of stillness. Good fortune. The zodiac sign of line 6, Tiger, is strong by the element of the season, and, by the element of the hexagram, signifies demands made on you, what you must stand up to. Tiger is in harmony with the signs of the day and month. The Wood of Wood Rat day puts a tortoise in line 6. It advises dealing with challenges quietly, with dignity, and by keeping secret. Do not let yourself be used unfairly or robbed.
