Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 4/13/16

4/13 is the day of Wood Ox in the month of Water Dragon. This is a harmonious combination. It favors diligence, smooth work, and money making.
Ox is the Star of Art for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day for creative work.
Ox favors Ox, Snake, Rooster, Rat, and Pig; is neutral toward Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, and Monkey; and clashes with Horse, Sheep, and Dog.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 42, line 3.

Hexagram 42 is Yi, Increase. It furthers to do something. It is time to cross the great water.

Line 3 You are benefited by unfortunate circumstances. No blame. The zodiac sign for line 3, Dragon, is strong by the element of the season, and by the element of the hexagram, signifies money. Dragon is in harmony with the sign of the day, but clashes with the sign of the month. The Wood of Wood Ox day puts a worm in line 3. Despite an obstacle, or complication that might appear, do not be afraid to act. Missing the time to act can bring bad luck.
