Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 4/3/16

4/3 is the day of Wood Rabbit in the month of Metal Rabbit. This is a partly discordant combination. It favors independence, and tends to prosperity.
Rabbit is the Commanding Star for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day for taking charge and making progress in your career.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog, this is a good day for socializing and love.
Rabbit favors Rabbit, Sheep, Pig, Tiger, and Dog; is neutral toward Snake, Horse, Monkey, and Ox; clashes with Rooster and Rat; and is ambivalent toward Dragon.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 7, line 3.

Hexagram 7 is Shi, the Army. It requires persistence and strong leadership abilities. Good fortune. No blame.

Line 3 carrying corpses in the wagon brings bad luck. A past matter needs to be cleared up. The zodiac signs of line 3, Horse and Rooster, are neutral toward one another. Horse, however, conquers Rooster. There is desire in it. If you are in or between two relationships, you may be courting trouble. Horse is strong by the element of the season, and Rooster is weak. The combination of Horse and Rooster, by the element of the hexagram, signifies needs for support and money, also, and especially for men, a sexual attraction. Horse is supported by the sign of the day and season. Rooster clashes with them. This gives encouragement. The Wood of Wood Rabbit day puts a snake in line 3. Pay close attention to details and to subliminal signals.
