Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 4/4/16

4/4 is the day of Fire Dragon in the month of Metal Rabbit. This is a harmonious combination. It favors research and investigation, and behind the scenes, solitary professions. It is very good for psychic work.
Dragon is the Star of Art for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day for creative work.
Dragon favors Monkey, Rat, Rooster, and Tiger; is neutral toward Snake, Horse, Sheep, Pig, and Ox; clashes with Dragon and Dog; and is ambivalent toward Rabbit.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 40, line 2.

Hexagram 40 is Jie, Release. If there is nowhere else to go, it is good to return. If you have something to finish, it is good to get it done.

Line 2 You kill three foxes and receive a golden arrow. Perseverance brings good luck. The foxes are ignorance, greed, and anger. The golden arrow is right concentration. This is a very fortunate sign if you are meditating. If you are ill, you need to take it seriously now; this is not a good sign. If you started and argument, you are the one to resolve it.
The zodiac signs of line 2, Dragon and Tiger, are in harmony with one another, and are strong by the element of the season. By the element of the hexagram they signify good business activity and money. Dragon and Tiger are in harmony with the signs of changing lines, 1 and 4. Dragon clashes with the signs of the day and month, while Tiger is in harmony with them. This advises to avoid unnecessary disagreements. The Fire of Fire Dragon day puts a worm in line 2. This encourages you to be grounded, and to make your moves deliberately.
