Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 2/19/17

2/19 is the day of Fire Ox in the month of Water Tiger. This is a harmonious combination. It favors helping others.
This day is designated as inauspicious and closed. It is unsuitable for all major activities. One also should guard against being attacked by vicious animals. And there is the danger of illness.
A closed day is bad for any activity of great significance.
The lunar mansion is Fang, House. In context of the above, this is is an unfavorable star.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this is a good day for creative work.
Ox, the sign of this day, is in harmony with Ox, Snake, Rooster, Rat, and Pig; neutral with Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Monkey, and Dog; and clashes with Horse and Sheep.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 56, line 1.

Hexagram 56 is Lu, the Traveler. Success through smallness. Firm correctness brings good fortune.

Line 1 Engaging in trivial matters, you bring down misfortune upon yourself. The zodiac sign for line 1 is Dragon. By the element of the season, Dragon is strong. By the element of the hexagram, Dragon signifies creative, or business interests. Dragon is for the most part neutral with the signs of changing lines, 4 and 5, neutral with the sign of the day, and harmonious with the sign of the month. Cultivate industriousness. The Fire of Fire Ox day puts a raven in line 1. Avoid quarreling.
