Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 2/3/17

2/3 is the first day of spring in the Chinese calendar. The three shars (killing Qi) are in the north, northwest, and northeast quarter of the home or workplace. Refrain from digging the ground or doing any construction for the time being, to prevent unleashing harmful energies.

2/3 is the day of Metal Rooster in the month of Water Tiger. This is a harmonious combination. It favors careers in finance, commercial matters, investment, and trading.
This day is designated as dire and danger. It is unsuitable for all activities. Be cautious.
A danger day is used for religious worship and bed positioning in fengshui.
The lunar mansion is Lou, Mound. This is a good star, it has no negative attributes.
Rooster, the sign of this day, is in harmony with Ox, Snake, Monkey, and Dragon; neutral with Pig, Rat, Tiger, Horse, and Sheep; clashes with Rooster, and Rabbit; and is ambivalent with Dog.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 48, line 5.

Hexagram 48 is Jing, The Well. The town may be changed, but the well remains unchanged. It never increases nor decreases. People come and go can draw from it. If the rope is too short or the bucket is broken before reaching the water, misfortune.

Line 5 There is a clear, cool spring from which everyone can drink freely. The zodiac sign for line 5 is Dog. By the element of the season, Dog is weak. By the element of the hexagram, Dog signifies money. Dog is in harmony with the element of changing line, 1, in an ambivalent relation with the sign of the day, and neutral with the sign of the month. Metal exuding from Earth may be crated in Wood. The Metal of Metal Rooster day puts a worm in line 5. Patience.
