Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 3/8/17

3/8 is the day of Wood Horse in the month of Water Rabbit. This is a harmonious combination. It favors competitiveness.
This day is designated as inauspicious and balancing. It is unsuitable for such as marriage and starting renovations. Activating the energies this day can result in lawsuits and legal entanglements within 60 to 120 days.
A balance day requires that both sides are equal. This, on a day that favors competitiveness complicates things.
The lunar mansion this day is Can, Orion. It is good for fengshui operations and travel.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this is a good day for romance.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog, this is a good day for making progress at work.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 14, line 3.

Hexagram 14 is Dayou, Posession in Great Measure. The highest success.

Line 3 A prince offers his property to the Son of Heaven. A petty man can not do this. The zodiac signs for line 3 are Dragon and Ox. Dragon is void. By the element of the season both are strong, but Dragon can act unpredictably or inversely. By the element of the hexagram, both Dragon and Ox signify support, but Dragon expresses it inversely and the opposite of Ox. Ox expressed support positively. So Dragon and Ox compete. Dragon is neutral with the sign of the day, and ambivalent toward the sign of the month. Ox clashes with the sign of the day and is neutral with the sign of the month. The elements are in a nonproductive relationship. It is best expressed as being introspective. The Wood of Wood Horse day puts a snake in line 3. Be aware of subtle changes.
