Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 6/11/17

6/11 is the day of Earth Snake in the month of Fire Horse. This is a harmonious combination. It favors behind the scenes occult research.
This day is designated as inauspicious and closed. It is not good for any major activities at all.
A closed day is bad for activities of great personal or business significance.
The lunar mansion is Fang, House. A benefic asterism, it promises increasing wealth. It is good for prayers.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep, this day may be busy, good for advancing your work.
Snake, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Snake, Rooster, Ox, Horse, and Sheep; neutral with Dog, Rat, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Monkey, Pig, and Tiger.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 6, line 4.

Hexagram  6 is Song, Conflict. Righteousness and sincerity are not sufficient by themselves. Plans should be made carefully before any enterprise is begun. If conflict develops later, use caution, and do not force matters to their end, nor force the advancement of any enterprise.

Line 4 The conflict cannot be carries out successfully, so one retreats and carries out divine will. This change in attitude brings good fortune. The zodiac sign of line 4 is Horse. By the element of the season, Horse is strong. By the element of the hexagram, Horse signifies colleagues. Horse is in harmony with the signs of changing line, 1, and the sign of the day, but clashes with the sign of the month. Horse, Snake, and Horse signify a great projection of cosmic energy. The Earth of Earth Snake day puts a dragon in line 4. This is auspicious. No need to cling to anyone or anything. Be at peace in yourself.
