Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 6/17/17

6/17 is the day of Wood Pig in the month of Fire Horse. This is a harmonious combination. It favors the arts.
This day is designated as fair and initiating. It is especially good for simple renovations.
An initiate day is good for beginning something, signing contracts, or anything new.
The lunar mansion is Nu, the Weaving Maiden. This asterism is good for academic and literary activities.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this day may be busy, good for business moves.
Pig, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, and Sheep; neutral with Dragon, Horse, Rooster, and Dog; and clashes with Snake, Monkey, and Pig.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 47, line 1.

Hexagram 47 is Kun, Oppression. Success through persevering. Actions of the superior man are advantageous. No error. Though he speaks words they are not convincing.

Line 1 Never let adversity conquer you. The zodiac sign for line 1 is Tiger. By the element of the season, Tiger is becoming weak. By the element of the hexagram, Tiger signifies money. Tiger for the most part is in harmony with the signs of changing lines, 2, 4, 5, and 6, and with the signs of the day and month. This is very positive. The Wood of Wood Pig day puts a dragon in line 1. Use this constructively.
