Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 6/21/17

6/21 is the day of Earth Rabbit in the month of Fire Horse. It is summer solstice, mid-summer in the Chinese calendar. This is a harmonious combination. It favors secret investigation, occult research, metaphysical work.
This day is designated as inauspicious and receiving. It is an emptiness day, bringing interference of petty minded people, disputes, and legal problems if you engage in starting on major projects.
A receive day is meant for attaining rewards. It is limited in meaning by the day, however.
The lunar mansion is Bi, Wall. This is a positive asterim, showing prosperity and increase in wealth. Avoid traveling south.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog, this is a good day for romance.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep, this is a good day for making progress in your work.
Rabbit, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Rabbit, Sheep, Pig, Tiger, and Dog; neutral with Snake, Horse, Monkey, and Ox; clashes with Rat and Rooster; and is ambivalent with Dragon.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 37, line 2.

Hexagram 37 is Jiaren, The Family. Perseverance of a woman is advantageous.

Line 2 She must not follow her whims. She must attend to household duties. The zodiac sign of line 2 is Ox. By the element of the season, Ox is weak. By the element of the hexagram, Ox signifies money. Ox is for the most part neutral with the signs of changing lines, 1 and 5, neutral with the sign of the day, and clashes with the sign of the month. The sequence of elements advises to seek harmony. The Earth of Earth Rabbit day puts a tiger in line 2. There is danger. Keep your eyes open.
