Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 7/1/17

7/1 is the day of Earth Ox in the lunar month of Fire Sheep. This is a harmonious combination. It favors independence.
This day is designated as inauspicious and dangerous. It is good to avoid all major activities today to avoid a major loss of wealth.
A danger day is used for religious worship.
The lunar mansion is Liu, Willow. This asterism is not good for anything.
The scope of activities is narrowed down today.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this is a good day for creative work.
Ox, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Ox, Snake, Rooster, Rat, and Pig; neutral with Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, and Monkey; and clashes with Horse, Sheep, and Dog.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 38, line 4.

Hexagram 38 is Kui, Opposition. Good in limited matters.

Line 4 Isolated through opposition. One meets and grows with a companion who is compatible and cooperative. Danger. No error. The zodiac signs for line 4 are Rooster and Dog. By the element of the season, Rooster and Dog are weak. By the element of the hexagram, Rooster signifies creative, or business interests; Dog signifies colleagues, or competition. Rooster and Dog, for the most part, are in harmonious relations with the signs of changing lines, 1, 2, and 3. Rooster is in harmony with the sign of the day and neutral with the sign of the month; Dog clashes with both the signs of the day and month. The sequence of elements recommends to rely on  accumulated merit. The Earth of Earth Ox day puts a dragon in line 4. This is auspicious. You can act very effectively, but within limits.
