Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 6/4/17

6/4 is the day of Water Dog in the lunar month of Fire Horse. This is a clashing combination. It favors all financial careers.
This day is designated as dire and initiating. It is unsuitable for all major activities, but ok for minor activities.
An initiate day is good for starting projects.
The lunar mansion is Xing, Star. It is good for beginnings.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog, this is a good day for creative work.
Dog, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Dog, Tiger, Horse, Rabbit, and Monkey; neutral with Pig, Rat, and Snake; clashes with Ox, Dragon, and Sheep; and is ambivalent with Rooster.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 57, line 6.

Hexagram 57 is Sun, the Wind. Small efforts achieve success. It is advantageous to have firm goals and to see the superior man.

Line 6 Be strongly decisive. The zodiac signs for line 6 are Rabbit and Rat. By the element of the season, both are weak. By the element of the hexagram, Rabbit signifies colleagues, Rat signifies support. Rabbit and Rat are partly in harmony with the signs of changing line, 1. Rabbit is in harmony with the sign of the day and neutral with the sign of the month. Rat is neutral with the sign of the day and clashes with the sign of the month. The arrangement of elements say you could leave your talents unused; study the way of fortune. The Water of Water Dog day puts a tiger in line 6. For the unwary this could be a sign of disaster. If you know what you are doing, act.
