Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 11/14/17

11/14 is the day of Wood Snake in the lunar month of Metal Dog. This is a harmonious combination.
This day is designated as auspicious and destructive. It can only be used for matters of minor importance.
A destruction day is good for demolitions and for surgically removing something.
The lunar mansion is Zui, Beak. This asterism is totally negative and good for nothing.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep, use this day for organizing and going forward with your work, or project.
Snake, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Snake, Rooster, Ox, Horse, and Sheep; neutral with Dog, Rat, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Monkey, Pig, and Tiger.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 56, line 1.

Hexagram 56 is Lu, Traveler. Success through the small. Perseverance brings good luck.

Line 1 If you involve yourself in petty things, you bring on bad luck. The zodiac sign of line 1 is Dragon. By the element of the season, Dragon is relatively weak. By the element of the hexagram, Dragon signifies the development of creative or business interests. Dragon clashes with the signs of changing line, 4, is neutral with the sign of the day, and clashes with the sign of the month. The sequence of elements points to buried treasure. The Wood of Wood Snake day puts a dragon in line 1. Use this day wisely.
