Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 11/9/17

11/9 is the day of Metal Rat in the month of Metal Dog. This is a harmonious combination.
This day is designated as inauspicious and removing. It is bad for all major activities.
A remove day is good for spiritual activities for removing bad karma, also fengshui operations for space clearing and removing ghosts.
The lunar mansion is Kui, Astride. This asterism can bring about legal problems, obstacles, and challenges to business ventures. Don't make any changes today.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep, this day favors romance.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon, this day favors work.
Rat, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Rat, Dragon, Monkey, Pig, and Ox; neutral with Tiger, Snake, Rooster, and Dog; clashes with Rabbit and Horse; and is ambivalent with Sheep.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 18, line 3.

Hexagram 18 is Ku, Decay. It is advantageous to cross the great water. 3 days before beginning. 3 days after beginning.

Line 3 Handling mistakes of the father. There may be some regret. No great blame. The zodiac sign for line 3 is Rooster. By the element of the season, Rooster is weakening. By the element of the hexagram, Rooster signifies power. Rooster is neutral with the signs of changing line, 5, and with the sign of the day, but is in harmony with the sign of the month. The sequence of elements tells us to renew activities. The Metal of Metal Rat day puts a dragon in line 3 to tell the same thing.
