Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 11/19/17

11/19 is the day of Metal Dog in the lunar month of Metal Pig. This is a harmonious combination.
This day is designated as inauspicious and closed. It is not good for any major undertaking.
A close day is bad for any activity of great personal or business significance.
The lunar mansion is Xing, Star. This is a favorable asterism for negotiating.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog, this is a good day for creative work.
Dog, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Dog, Tiger, Horse, Rabbit, and Monkey; neutral with Pig, Rat, and Snake; clashes with Ox, Dragon, and Sheep; and is ambivalent with Rooster.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 26, line 2.

Hexagram 26 is Daxu, Great Saving. Good fortune from not eating at home. It is advantageous to cross the great water.

Line 2 Always exercise self control. The zodiac sign of line 2 is Tiger. By the element of the season, Tiger is strong. By the element of the hexagram, Tiger signifies power. Tiger is in harmony with the signs of changing line, 6, and with the signs of the day and month. The sequence of elements advises to retreat. The Metal of Metal Dog day puts a tortoise in line 2. The tortoise is quiet and private.
