Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 12/3/17

12/3 is the day of Wood Rat in the lunar month of Metal Pig. This is a clashing combination.
This day is designated as auspicious and removing. It is OK for major activities.
A remove day is good for spiritual exercises for getting rid of bad karma.
The lunar mansion is Xu, Void. Be on guard for illnesses.
If you were born in a year or day of Rat, Rabbit, or Sheep, this day favors romance for you.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon, this day is good for taking command of your work and moving forward.
Rat, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Rat, Dragon, Monkey, Pig, and Ox; neutral with Tiger, Snake, Rooster, and Dog; clashes with Horse and Rabbit; and is ambivalent with Sheep.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 60, line 1.

Hexagram 60 is Ji, Limitation. Success. Excessive limitation should not be pursued.

Line 1 Not to go out the door and courtyard is without blame. The zodiac signs of line 1 are Snake and Ox. By the element of the season, Snake is weak and Ox is strong. By the element of the hexagram, Snake signifies money, Ox signifies power. Snake and Ox are in harmony with the signs of changing line, 3, and the sign of the day, but clash with the sign of the month. The sequence of elements shows a need to discriminate between what works and what doesn't. The Wood of Wood Rat day puts a dragon in line 1. The Dragon is favorable.
