Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 12/4/17

12/4 is the day of Wood Ox in the lunar month of Metal Pig. This is a clashing combination.
This day is designated as inauspicious and full. It is not good for any major activity.
A full day is when you may have more than enough to do.
The lunar mansion is Wei, Danger. There is danger of harm at sea and by water, including health problems from water.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this is a good day for creative work.
Ox, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Ox, Snake, Rooster, Pig, and Rat; neutral with Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, and Monkey; and clashes with Horse, Sheep, and Dog.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 22, line 1.

Hexagram 22 is Pen, Grace. Success in small matters. It is good to do something.

Line 1 He lends grace to his toes. He leaves the carriage and travels by foot. The zodiac sign of line 1 is Rabbit. By the element of the season, Rabbit is strong. By the element of the hexagram, Rabbit signifies power. Rabbit is neutral with the sign of the day and in harmony with the sign of the month. The sequence of elements is entirely destructive. Retreat. Be patient. The Wood of Wood Ox day puts a dragon in line 1. The dragon is peaceful.
