Chinese astrological I Ching reading:12/9/17

12/9 is the day of Metal Horse in the lunar month of Metal Pig. This is a harmonious combination.
This day is designated as inauspicious and destructive. It is not good for any major undertaking.
A destruction day is suitable for demolitions and surgical removal of something.
The lunar mansion is Wei, Stomach. In light of the nature of the day, this asterism is useless.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this is a good day for expressing your talents.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, and Dog, this is a good day to take charge especially in work.
Horse, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Dog, Tiger, Snake, and Sheep; neutral with Monkey, Rooster, Pig, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Rat, Ox, and Horse.
The I Ching hexagram, for this day, is number 33, line 2.

Hexagram 33 is Tun, Withdrawal. Persistence in small matters is advantageous.

Line 2 He holds fast with thongs of yellow oxhide which cannot be parted. The zodiac sign of line 2 is Horse. By the element of the season, Horse is weak. By the element of the hexagram, Horse signifies power. Horse clashes with the sign of the day and is neutral with the sign of the month. The sequence of elements says not to go forward. The Metal of Metal Horse day puts a tortoise in line 2. The tortoise says to keep to yourself.
