Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 12/28/17

12/28 is the day of Earth Ox in the lunar month of Water Rat. This is a clashing combination.
This day is designated as auspicious and removing. It is good for major undertakings such as ground breaking, renovation, opening a business, travel, marriage, etc.
A remove day is good for spiritual practices for removing bad karma, also all forms of cleansing, and fengshui for space clearing.
The lunar mansion is Dou, Dipper. It is the star of wealth, literary and military success.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this day is good for creative work.
Ox, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Ox, Snake, Rooster, Pig, and Rat; neutral with Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, and Monkey; and clashes with Horse, Sheep, and Dog.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 23, line 5.

Hexagram 23 is Bao, Peeling. No movement in any direction is advantageous.

Line 5 A school of fishes. Favored by the court ladies, everything is favorable. The zodiac signs of line 5 are Rat and Snake. By the element of the season, Rat is strong, and Snake is weak. By the element of the hexagram, Rat signifies the development of creative or business interests, Snake signifies power. Rat and Snake are in harmony with the signs of the day and month. The sequence of elements suggests that you can use hidden assets now that the times are changing. The Earth of Earth Ox day puts a raven in line 5. Beware of envious people.
