Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 12/10/17

12/10 is the day of Metal Sheep in the lunar month of Metal Pig. This is a harmonious combination.
This day, however, is designated as inauspicious and dangerous. It is not good for undertaking any major project.
A danger day can be used for religious worship and fengshui.
The lunar mansion is Mao, Pleiades. This is an extremely negative asterim.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep, this is a good day for creative work.
Sheep, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Sheep, Pig, Rabbit, Snake, and Horse; neutral with Monkey, Rooster, Tiger, and Dragon; clashes with Dog and Ox; and is ambivalent with Rat.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 59, line 5.

Hexagram 59 Huan, Dispersion. The king approaches his temple. It is advantageous to cross the great water. Firm correctness brings rewards.

Line 5 Amid dispersion the king issues commands with much perspiration. The king dispenses his treasures. No error. The zodiac sign for line 5 is Snake. By the element of the season, Snake is weak. By the element of the hexagram, Snake signifies friends and colleagues. Snake is in harmony with the signs of changing line, 3, and with the sign of the day, but clashes with the sign of the month. The sequence of elements says to separate illusion from fact. The Metal of Metal Sheep day puts an  earthworm in line 5. The earthworm denotes obstacles slowing down progress.
