Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 5/18/15
5/18 is the day of Wood Horse in the month of Metal Snake. It is the first day of the month of Metal Snake. Snake is the Traveling Star for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is an important month to make good progress in your career. It is also good for traveling, moving house, and for rearranging your home and/or workplace.
The combination of Wood Horse and Metal Snake favors creative work.
Horse is the Commanding Star for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a day to take charge in your work and move forward.
Horse is the Star of Romance for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three, this is a day for love.
Horse generally favors Sheep, Dog, and Tiger; is neutral toward Snake, Monkey, Rooster, Pig, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Horse, Rat, and Ox.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 8, line 3.
Hexagram 8 is Bi, Loyalty. Good fortune if you have high standards and are constant. If you do, everything will go well. Those who are uncertain come eventually. Those who come too late meet with misfortune.
Line 3 says that you are the source of the people you attract. The zodiac sign of line 3, Rabbit, is in partial harmony with the signs of changing line, 6, and is in harmony with the signs of the day and month. The Wood of Wood Horse day puts a worm in line 3. While you can be productive and make good progress, pay close attention to any obstacle that might be there and be patient.
The elements of this hexagram are Earth, Earth, and Water. You need to be gentle and careful when dealing with obstructions.
