Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 5/26/15
5/26 is the day of Water Tiger in the month of Metal Snake. This is a partly harmonious combination. It resolves predicaments, and favors those who courageously pursue the object of their desires. Water Tiger has the ability to take positive advantage of, and benefit from difficult circumstances.
Tiger is the Traveling Star for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is may be a busy day, good for traveling, rearranging your home or place of work, and for moving forward in your career.
Tiger generally favors people born under Tiger, Horse, Dog, Rabbit, Dragon, and Pig; is neutral toward Sheep, Rabbit, Rat, and Ox; and clashes with Snake and Monkey.
The I Ching hexagram for this day is number 20, line 4.
Hexagram 20 is Guan, Contemplation. The ablution has been made but not the offering. The people look up to him with trust.
Line 4 advises taking a broad outlook, as opposed to a selfish outlook. Work for the common good. The zodiac sign of line 4, Sheep, is in harmony with the signs of changing line, 5, and with the signs of the day and month. The Water of Water Tiger day puts a worm in line 4. Working hard and caring for others, be patient with whatever obstacles there may be.
The elements of this hexagram are Metal, Earth, and Wood. The reward of patience is comfort.
