Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 5/12/16
5/12 is the day of Wood Horse in the month of Water Snake. This is a harmonious combination. It is clever, loves knowledge, and favors creativity and the skill to turn problematic situations to advantage.
This is a good day to disconnect and get away, travel, start new ventures, begin new studies, do art work.
This is a bad day for endings. If traveling, today, try to avoid east, west, and north directions. If making fengshui adjustments, pay attention to possible problems in the east, west, and/or north areas of your place.
Horse is the Commanding Star for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day for taking command and moving forward with your career.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this is a good day for romance.
Horse favors Dog, Tiger, Snake, and Sheep; is neutral toward Monkey, Rooster, Pig, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Horse, Rat, and Ox.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 17, line 3.
Hexagram 17 is Sui, Following. Great success. It is advisable to persevere. No blame.
Line 3 advises turning away from what is low, or inferior, and following what is high, or superior to find what you seek. The zodiac sign of line 3, Dragon, is strong by the element of the season, and, by the element of the hexagram, signifies money, or the object of your desire. Dragon, for the most part, is in harmony with the signs of changing lines, 2 and 4, and with the signs of the day and month. The Wood of Wood Horse day puts a worm in line 3. Act positively despite any obstacle.
