Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 7/20/15
7/20 is the day of Fire Rooster in the month of Water Sheep. This is a partly discordant combination. It favors creativity. It also helps in resolving difficulties, and turning problematic situations to advantage.
Rooster is the Commanding Star for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day to make progress at work.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon this is a good day for romantic affairs.
Rooster generally favors Ox, Snake, Dragon, and Monkey; is indifferent to Pig, Rat, Tiger, Horse, and Sheep; clashes with Rooster and Rabbit; and is either good or bad with Dog depending on circumstances.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 16, line 1.
Hexagram 16 is Yu, Enthusiasm. It is good to get help and set armies marching.
Line 1 Boasting brings misfortune. The zodiac sign for line 1, Sheep, is for the most part in harmony with the signs for changing lines, 2 and 4, and with the signs for the day and month. The Fire of Fire Rooster day puts a raven in line 1. Be careful not to get into an argument.
The elements of this hexagram are Wood, Earth, and Wood. Earth is overwhelmed. If beset with problems, retreat for the time being.
