Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 7/8/15

7/8 is the day of Wood Rooster in the month of Water Horse. This is a harmonious combination. It favors creative work. It also mitigates difficult conditions.
Rooster is the Star of Romance for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for romantic affairs.
If you were born in a day or year of Snake, Rooster, and Ox this is a good day for your work.
Rooster generally favors Ox, Snake, Dragon, and Monkey; is neutral toward Pig, Rat, Tiger, Horse, and Sheep; clashes with Rooster and Rabbit; and is either good or bad with Dog depending on circumstances.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 25, line 4.

Hexagram 25 is Wuwang, the Unexpected. Highest success. If you are not as you should be, however, you will have bad luck, and it won't help to do anything.

Line 4 Persevere in what is right only. The zodiac signs of line 4, Horse and Sheep, are in harmony with one another, but, because the Wood of Wood Rooster day makes them void, they have little power. They are, nonetheless in harmony with the signs of changing line, 3, and with the sign of the day, but clash with the sign of the month. The Wood of Wood Rooster day puts a tiger in line 4. It favors moderation. Don't try to force anything.

The elements of this hexagram are Wood, Wood, and Metal. The elements are in a fairly weak condition.
